The following are the courses in this minor that may be used to satisfy their respective Civitae Core requirements, up to two Pillar courses and one Perspective course:
MUSC 102, MUSC 105, MUSC 155, MUSC 155, MUSC 158, MUSC 221, MUSC 222, MUSC 224, MUSC 225, and THEA 101 can satisfy the Aesthetic Expression Pillar requirement
You’ll take 22 credits in Music, Theatre and Dance.
In music, you’ll build a foundation in reading musical notation and in singing technique through lessons and ensembles.
In theatre, you’ll take acting and production courses, and can choose from theatrical design, technical theatre or more movement or acting classes.
In dance, you’ll choose different styles of dance to study. You’ll have opportunities for performance in musicals in an opera workshop, where you’ll develop small scene skills.
