Minor

A Communication Studies minor is a terrific complement to any major. After all, communicating well with others is key to success, regardless of the field you enter. To earn this minor you'll need six classes. Two of the classes will be Introduction to Communication Studies and Public Speaking, and you can tailor the remaining four courses to fit your interests.

Volunteer roles at VP Debate lead two Longwood students to an even bigger stage: the Super Bowl

Vice Presidential Debate volunteers Allyson Stone '17 and Ryan Carey '17 left an impression on Fox News producer Pete Flores. Now working on the Super Bowl, Flores knew he needed additional hands he could count on and called up Stone and Carey.

“I knew right away that I had a great group of student volunteers for the debate who really went above and beyond,” said Flores, who co-lead production at the Super Bowl in Houston, February 2017.
