Are you interested in having your advertisement posted on campus?

  • The University Center and Student Activities Office approves all posters/flyers that are posted across campus. The office also oversees the hanging of all items in the Lankford Student Union and the Dining Hall. Only Residential and Commuter Life staff are permitted to post items in residence halls and apartment communities.
  • Any items that are posted without following these guidelines will be removed, and if any damage results from such postings, the individual or organization will be held responsible for the repair. No posting is allowed on walls, windows or doors.
  • Students, faculty/staff, departments, businesses, or organizations can submit items to be approved either in person or by email. If you would like to have your posters/flyers approved before printing then you should email your file to our staff at postings@longwood.edu. After receiving an approval confirmation you will be allowed to add “Lankford Student Union Approved for Posting.” If you add the approved for posting line on your poster and it was not approved it will be removed. If submitting in person please bring one copy of your original to the University Center and Student Activities office, room 201 in the Student Union, to be stamped for approval. After receiving the stamped original, the sponsor will then be responsible for making 40 copies of the stamped version.
    • 8 copies should be delivered to Room 201 in the Student Union for posting in the Union and the Dining Hall
    • 18 can be brought to the RCL office for distribution in the residence halls
    • the remaining 12 can be posted on approved bulletin boards on campus.
    • Space is limited and posting is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Remember if you are having an event on campus you must include the following: "To request disability-related accommodations, please contact: ______________." Then put the name and phone number of the person to contact in your club/organization.
  • Literature may not advertise alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, e-cigarettes and/or personal vaporizers unless material directly supports educational programming efforts.
