Matt Came to Longwood in 2005 as the Director of Campus Recreation to prepare the campus for the opening of the Health and Fitness Center. Prior to his arrival, Matt held professional positions in campus recreation and community parks and recreation. As Associate Dean, he oversees the Counseling Center, Student Health and Wellness, Campus Recreation, Environmental Health and Safety, and the Golf Course. Matt is a Civil War history buff, regularly plays racquetball and softball, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
