Lindsay's career has been devoted to working with people with a variety of disabilities. She began by developing and carrying out treatment plans for at-risk youth with learning and behavioral disabilities in Lynchburg, Virginia. From there, she worked for Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology as a Psychometrisy providing comprehensive evaluation services and interventions for patients coping with brain injury and other neurological disorders. She also served the Richmond community as a therapist at VCU's Center for Psychological Services and Development. Lindsay joined the Longwood University family in January 2012 and is dedicated to increasing awareness, removing barriers, and promoting an inclusive environment for all students.
