Grant Preparation FAQ's
I am new to Longwood University. How do I get started doing funded research projects?
Contact Regina Maldve at the Sponsored Programs and Research Office at 434-395-2986 or firstname.lastname@example.org for an overview of the entire process. She will need to get an idea of your research or project interest in order to better tailor funding searches to your interests.
Is OSPR available to help me prepare my proposal?
OSPR will review your proposal per agency guidelines and help you prepare your budget during the development of your proposal.
Do all proposals need to be submitted through OSPR instead of directly to the sponsor?
Yes. LU sponsored projects must be reviewed and signed by University Administration prior to submission.
