Each student will be assigned an advisor as soon as Social Work is declared the major. It is each student's responsibility to review and become familiar with the requirements for graduation from Longwood University. The Social Work faculty members make every effort to get to know each student as a unique individual. Students are encouraged to become familiar with course prerequisites. Also, students are strongly encouraged to work with their advisor throughout their academic career at Longwood.
