Services

Mrs. Stephanie Bailey, Longwood Speech Hearing and Learning Services certified accessor, will work with you through a semi-structured observation and evaluation of your child’s:

• Communication
• Social interaction
• Play/imaginative use of materials
• Restricted and repetitive behaviors

We will use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Assessment, which is a standardized assessment that is one part of a comprehensive evaluation to determine an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. The assessment provides the opportunity to observe the behaviors associated with an autism spectrum disorder and construct a profile of the child's strengths and difficulties that will be helpful in planning intervention.
