Proposals
After surveying university constituencies, hearing reports from different offices on campus related to student learning, and considering the University's mission and strategic plan, the QEP Topic Selection Committee has identified four possible topics and developed a preliminary proposal for each one:
- Developing the Citizen Leader Through Global Diversity
- Making Internships Work for Students
- Creating Knowledge in the 21st Century: A Focus on Student Research
- Active Citizen Leadership in a Culturally Diverse World
Each proposal follows a similar format in describing the context of the topic at Longwood, surveying current research in the field, identifying actions that could be taken and the specific student learning outcomes they should improve, considering means of assessment, and estimating a budget. Please provide feedback through the March focus groups and the April survey. Your responses will help the committee decide what topics to recommend to the SACSCOC Leadership Team.
