The transcript is the complete record of all academic work attempted at Longwood University, regardless of degree-seeking status or program level.

The University does not provide official transcripts that segregate individual courses, schools, terms or levels.

Requests for transcripts are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Additional time is required for requests of student records prior to 2007 and for requests made at the end of the semester.

All fines, fees, and most holds must be cleared from a student's account before an Official transcript will be released.

If you are applying for Teaching Licensure with the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) you can request your official transcript to be

  • mailed to you
  • held for pick-up (Brock Hall, Suite 112)
  • sent electronically

If you choose to mail your official transcript, the envelope MUST remain sealed and you must include your unopened official transcript with the application packet.

You may also request Longwood University to send your electronic official transcript directly to the Office of Licensure at VDOE via Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse.
