Integrated Security Systems

Who We Are

The Office of Integrated Security Systems (OISS) is a division of the Police Department and is located in the basement of Dorrill building in the Police station. This office is responsible for the system administration of both the Lenel On-Guard security system/server which deals with fire alarms, access control, door hardware issues and the video surveillance system within the campus community. In addition, the Sr. Manager assists with the accreditation and assessment process for the Police Department, office management and the departmental budget. Please direct all inquiries or issues regarding access, door maintenance, or video security to Debra A. Our Mission

The mission of the office of Integrated Security Systems is to protect students, faculty and staff at Longwood University by utilizing, enhancing, and developing a secure environment. It is a goal of this office to maximize the use of current technologies in order to deliver efficient services regarding physical security and it's components to the Longwood campus community.
