New Lancer Days 2013 is your EXTENDED ORIENTATION experience!

During these four days leading up to the start of the fall semester, ALL NEW STUDENTS will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with their classmates, develop friendships with upper-class student leaders, learn about valuable resources available on campus, and explore a variety of issues that they will undoubtedly face during your time at Longwood. Remember, New Lancer Days (NLD) is a part of your grade for Longwood Seminar so it's important to attend events!

New Lancer Days 2013 will be held Thursday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 25th!

For transfer students not enrolled in a Longwood Seminar class, NLD is optional. Another optional program that we offer is TransFORM, which is an abbreviated NLD geared towards this population of transfer students. At TransFORM, students get the opportunity to hear from various campus offices, as well as participate in Longwood's Academic Honor & Integrity ceremony, which is a long standing tradition at the university.
