Strategies for Managing Speaking Anxiety

The Longwood University Speaking Center provides one-on-one peer coaching to all Longwood University students interested in improving their public speaking skills. Services are designed to help our clients further develop their oral communication confidence and competence. Assistance is offered in the preparation and delivery of speeches and development of knowledge and skill in interpersonal communication.

Appointments

Services are by appointment only. Please call x2393 for scheduling. Please book appointments a minimum of 2 days prior to date of desired service. Hiner G12 has been reserved for consultations Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm for consultations that do not require electronic media. Consultations involving electronic media will be booked in Room 147B of the Greenwood Library as available.  Students will be required to e-mail their presentations to themselves and access their presentation through webmail.
