Newest Group of Student Teachers Visit Longwood University Campus for their Seminar Day in August, 2013

Dr. Pam Randall, Program Director & Resident Faculty accompanied the six teacher candidates ready to student teach in Fall 2013 to campus for Seminar Day, a day designed to prepare them for the experience. For some, this was their first visit to the Longwood campus. Longwood is proud of these future teachers from the Henry and Patrick County areas!

 

Heather Hoffman

Heather Hoffman, B.S. Liberal Studies major, 2009, Summa Cum Laude:  Selected as Visitor Center Associate for the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center in September, 2013.  In a press release from the Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation, Heather says about her new position,  "I look forward to the work that I will be doing to help promote tourism in the Martinsville-Henry County area and enjoying this community that I hold so near and dear to my heart."
