Purpose

The Campus Diversity Survey was was an effort of the University Diversity Council to develop a better understanding of the degree to which students perceive the Longwood environment as being supportive and inclusive for all students. Questions on the survey assessed students' perceptions and experiences both in and outside the classroom with faculty, staff, and other students that affect belonging, satisfaction and retention, were included within this questionnaire. The survey focused on the following areas:

1. Campus Experiences with Diversity
2. Campus Experiences with Discrimination
3. Perceptions of Campus Climate
4. Personal Reflection
5. Background and Demographic Information
