Focus on Films: Cultural Movie Series

Twice a month the Office of Diversity & Inclusion sponsors Focus on Films, a cultural film series that engages students in honest dialogue around movies that focus on issues of race, ethnicity, sexuality, religious affiliation, ability, socioeconomic status, gender, political affiliation, and national origin. Students come together in a small group, watch a film, and then engage in a transformative discussion about how the film challenged them to think critically and examine imagines, themes, and ideals presented through popular culture and film. Focus on Films is held in the Center for Diversity & Inclusion (Lancaster Hall G28A), unless otherwise advertised.
