Do you want to reach back and help an incoming 1st year or Transfer student? Do you want to have an impact on a fellow students experience at Longwood University?

Do you want to connect with upperclassmen on the campus? Do you want to get connected to different leadership opportunities and programs that Longwood has to offer?

If you Answered YES to any of these Questions then C.L.A.S.S. Mentors is the program for you

C.L.A.S.S. Mentors is a program that will pair upperclassmen students with 1st year and transfer students in a mentor, mentee relationship in which they will help these students transition to Longwood University.

The objectives of C.L.A.S.S. Mentors include, but are not limited to, increasing retention rates among underrepresented individuals, motivating incoming underrepresented students towards academic and social excellence, help underrepresented populations at Longwood feel like they belong and matter, and help underrepresented students have a smooth transition into college life.
