You can find students, old classmates, professors, and other alumni by following Longwood’s University page on LinkedIn. This will also allow you to stay updated on what’s happening at your school, which can help you break the ice with fellow alumni.

The Longwood University page makes it easy for you to do the following:

• Find the students and alumni who identify with your school
• Find notable people who identify with your school
• See what they do, what they study, and so on
• Stay updated on events, news, and so on

These insights can help you determine who you should reach out to on LinkedIn and what topics you can use to start conversations with each person.

Become a member of Longwood University's LinkedIn group(s).

Finding alumni on LinkedIn is as easy as searching for your school in LinkedIn’s search bar. Locate your school’s Group(s) and request to join.

Longwood University has a few great groups you can join to connect with fellow alums, including Longwood University and Longwood Alumni. When you join these groups, you have the opportunity to do the following:

• Contribute relevant content about your school and/or industry
• Facilitate conversation with other members
• Reach out to people within the group and ask to connect

By engaging with your school on LinkedIn, you can find people who can give you valuable insight, advice, and introductions that can help you get your foot in the door at your dream companies.
