Longwood's Art department offers a variety of classes, preparing students for post-graduation work experience. Art has always been a study and practice of diverse creative ways of expression through human thoughts, interests, attitudes, emotions, and ideas. At Longwood, majors seek to not only develop current skills, but also to discover new ones as well. While Longwood offers nine concentrations in various fields, numerous careers await Longwood Art majors. Longwood Art concentrations include Art, Art Education, Art History, Drawing and Printmaking, Graphic Design, and Interior Architecture.
