Wallpaper Help / Instructions

The easiest way to use the wallpaper:

• Each wallpaper choice is available in three sizes: 800x600 (15 inch monitors), 1024x768  (17 inch monitors), and 1280x1024 (19 inch monitors). Click on the appropriate size for a full-size preview of the image. Right-click the full-size preview and select "set as wallpaper" or "set as background." The wallpaper you choose will automatically be your new desktop wallpaper!

To save several wallpaper images for use now and/or later:

• If you want to save the image to your hard drive, select the appropriate size link for a full-size preview. Then right-click on the image and select "save picture as" or "save image as." Make a note of what folder you are saving the image in. When you want to use a wallpaper you have saved, just right-click on your desktop, choose "Properties" and then choose Desktop tab. Then use the browse button to find the image you saved.  Double-click the picture/image you want to use and it will set itself as your new wallpaper. Be sure to click "apply" or "OK" to finalize your choice.

To get your wallpaper image to show up in your list of backgrounds in the display properties:

• Download the image (make sure you download the correct size for your monitor) and then open it in a photo editing program of your choice. You can use Paint, which comes with windows. Now choose "File, Save As" and save as BMP format directly into the windows folder on your C drive. Now right-click on your desktop and choose Properties and then the Desktop tab, and you will find it listed with the rest of your backgrounds.

Using the wallpaper with an iMac:

• For the wallpaper you wish to use, select a size link for a full-size preview and save this image to your Mac. Under "System Preferences," open the "Desktop & Screen Saver" control panel. Select the Desktop tab. Click "Choose folder" to browse for your image. Once chosen, your desktop will be set with the new background.
