Dr. Christopher Swanson, Assistant Professor of Music, was a guest recently on the statewide NPR program With Good Reason. In the segment “Virginia Folklife Traditions,” which aired Dec. 1-7, he discussed a new method he and his colleagues developed for singers and pianists to find their own interpretation of vocal music.
