Jay Lynn is directing the Waterworks Players’ production of Proof

Jay Lynn, Information Technology Project Manager for Information and Instructional Technology Services, is directing the Waterworks Players’ production of Proof, an award-winning play by David Auburn. Performances are at 8 p.m. Sept. 19-20 and 26-27. Lynn has had numerous roles over the years, appearing in the Waterworks Players’ productions of Damn Yankees, Complete History of America (Abridged), Arsenic and Old Lace, Tintypes, I Do! I Do!, Doubt and, most recently, The Full Monty. One of the most celebrated plays in recent years, Proof received the 2001 Tony Award for Best Play in Drama and the Pulitzer Prize in Drama. The Waterworks Players are Farmville’s community theater group.
