Dr. Ed Kinman and Dr. Leigh Lunsford appeared in Longwood Theatre’s recent production of "The Grapes of Wrath"

Dr. Ed Kinman, Associate Professor of Geography, and Dr. Leigh Lunsford, Associate Professor of Mathematics, appeared in Longwood Theatre's recent production of The Grapes of Wrath. Dr. Kinman played Granpa, and Dr. Lunsford played Granma in the production, which was presented Feb. 18-21 and 25-28.
Both are members of the board of the Waterworks Players, a community theater group in Farmville, and have been in numerous Waterworks Players' productions. Dr. Lunsford had prominent roles in The Full Monty (2008), Boardwalk Melody Hour Murders (2005), Cabaret (2004), and in the staged reading of Shortcomings (written by Dr. Brett Hursey, Assistant Professor of English) in October 2009, among others. Productions in which Dr. Kinman has appeared include Brigadoon (2009), The Cottonpatch Gospel (2007), Miss Saigon (2006), and the pantomine Cinderella (2008)
