Executive-in-Residence program on Jan. 31 canceled

The Executive-in-Residence talk by Rhonda Vetere scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 31, has been cancelled. Vetere is senior vice president of global technology infrastructure for the American Insurance Group.

Vetere, senior vice president of global technology infrastructure for the American Insurance Group (AIG), will speak on "Becoming a Global Change Agent" in the Executive-in-Residence lecture series for the College of Business and Economics (CBE). Her talk originally was scheduled for November 2012 but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Vetere, who is headquartered in New York City, leads global technology at AIG, a leading insurance organization that serves customers in more than 130 countries. She also has held leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, Barclays, Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan Chase and MCI/Worldcom. She won the Barclays CIO award in 2009 and was recognized as the industry best practice leader in 2005-06 by Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company.
