Longwood senior featured on NBC 12 news about the support for a new bill to make college more affordable

Longwood senior Emily Van Daniker, chair of the VA21 Student Leadership Committee, was featured in a news segment, "College students march to Capitol for more funding," that aired yesterday (2.3.11) on Richmond's WWBT (NBC/12). Van Daniker was one of about 100 college students who met with lawmakers at the Virginia General Assembly building Thursday to show their support for increased funding for college tuition in the Commonwealth.
