Black Hawk Helicopter Lands on Iler Field

A Black Hawk helicopter landed on Iler Field on Thursday, March 18 to pick up a group of Longwood ROTC cadets. The cadets were transported to Fort Eustis where they are participating in a training camp. The landing attracted a large crowd of Longwood faculty, staff, and students who observed the event. Longwood campus police and the Farmville Fire Department were on site to handle safety and security detail for the landing.
