Longwood supports Farmville Downtown Revitalization
November 30, 2010
A front page story about an important market survey of downtown Farmville—part of the Farmville Downtown Revitalization project—appeared in the Nov. 23 edition of the Farmville Herald. The story, "Shoppers are being Surveyed," was written by editor Ken Woodley and includes quotes from both Sheri McGuire, executive director of the Longwood University Small Business Development Center Network, and Dr. Chuck Ross, dean of the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences and co-chair of the downtown revitalization committee.
The Longwood University Small Business Development Center, with the help of Longwood student volunteers, is conducting the marketing survey of downtown Farmville to provide vital data for the Downtown Revitalization Project. Longwood faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the survey at: http://www.sbdc-longwood.com/survey/
