University Center and Student Activities
The Lankford Student Union was built in 1966 and is named after President Francis Greenfield Lankford.
The Student Union houses the following offices:
- Student Activities
- Greek Life
- Lancer Productions
- Student Government Association
- Rotunda Student Newspaper
- Leadership and Service Learning
- Diversity and Inclusion
It also houses the Commuter Lounge, Lancer Cafe, Recreation Area, and Post Office.

The Lankford Student Union and all programs sponsored by the office are open to Longwood University faculty, staff, and students.

If you would like to sell merchandise or promote your business on Longwood University Campus - please click here to register your date for selling your items. Shuttle for Fall Break
Need a ride home for Fall Break? We have a shuttle service that goes to Springfield Metro Station and Thomas Nelson Community College in the Tidewater area. The cost is $40 round trip. We will leave Longwood on Friday, October 9th at 4pm. We will pick you up on Tuesday, October 13th at 3pm at your designated area to return to campus. There will be no physical ticket that you will receive. You just need to be behind the Student Union by 3:45pm to get checked in and get on the bus. Use this link to purchase your ticket.
