Student Health & Wellness Center

At the Student Health & Wellness Center, you will be seen by advanced practice clinicians (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) that assess and treat many common acute health conditions affecting the college health population, which may also be seen in a family physician's office.

In Virginia, Advanced Practice Clinicians can prescribe medications.

For your health education and promotion program needs, you will be assisted by our Wellness Coordinator who is a Certified Health Education Specialist.

The Red Flag Campaign takes place from Oct. 1st–Oct. 31st and is a public awareness campaign designed to encourage bystanders to intervene and address dating violence, gender based violence, and sexual misconduct in general.
